It's that time of year - it's Wedding Awards Season!!! and You've done it for us again! We are IN THE FINALS!!!!!!!
Now last year you may remember that we did a little thing and ended up winning the South West Wedding Awards Classic Wedding Photographer award and this year we are stupid enough to go for it again!!! Thank you SOOOOO much to all of this years couples who continue to love us and show appreciation for what we do by voting. I'm already feeling just a little bit sick about the prospect of another awards night and the anticipation of winning and also - I know some of the lovely people we are head to head with and know that they are all not just fabulous photographers but some really nice people too who are as deserving of the win as anyone! So, November the 4th is the awards night and we will be there - feeling sick - and see what comes. Regardless of whether we get the back to back we have accomplished so much this year and I feel like I'm on some sort of roller coaster high at the moment! This year also marks the 5th year in a row that couples have voted us through to the finals. My business is only 7.5 years old so to be thought of as one of the best in the South West for the past 5 years on the trot - with a highly commended and a win mixed in is quite an achievement and something I might need to spend a bit of time thinking about because these awards are voted for by our couples ONLY. That's right - no-one else is able to vote other than couples whose wedding you have worked on. It is truly humbling that for 5 years our couples have been consistently voting for us and getting us into this position and in the running to be the best in the South West.
